Crime Report

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty:

• A 38-year-old maintenance worker from Carson City was arrested at 7:29 a.m. Tuesday at Russell Way and Northridge Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear, failure to use due care and driving with an expired registration. Bail was set at $1,209.

• A 33-year-old unemployed homeless man was arrested at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing. Bail was set at $237.

• Michael Winn, 26, of Carson City, was arrested at 12:08 a.m. in the Carson City Jail on suspicion of gross misdemeanor destruction of jail property and obstructing an officer. Bail was set at $3,132.

• Eva Yanish, 44, a nurse, was arrested at 8:59 a.m. Monday in the 900 block of East Musser Street after she turned herself in on a warrant charging felony child concealment. Bail was set at $5,000.

• Graffiti was reported at 9:52 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of North Carson Street.

• A mother reported at 10:04 a.m. her 46-year-old, bipolar son has been missing since March 9.

• A non-injury accident at 2:31 p.m. at East Fifth Street and Butti Way.

• A woman reported the man against whom she has a restraining order was following her on North Edmonds Road about 3 p.m.

• A non-injury accident at South Edmonds and Fairview Drive at 3:11 p.m.

• A vehicle-injury report in the 2800 block of Pebbleridge Drive at 4:01 p.m.

• An accident at East Washington Street at 4:09 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the 92 calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Misdemeanor arrest in the 1500 block of East Farm Lane in Fernley at 3:14 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest at Silver Stage High School at 9:37 a.m.

• Destruction of property report in the 2000 block of Lonnie Lane in Dayton at 10:07 a.m.

• The coroner was called out to the 1000 block of Antelope Street in Silver Springs at 11:38 a.m.

• Accident on East Main Street in Fernley at 12:16 p.m.

• Vehicle theft report in the 100 block of Kit Kat Drive in Mound House at 1:24 p.m.

• Accident on Hardie Lane in Fernley at 4:03 p.m.

• Drug complaint in the 700 block of Shadow Lane in Fernley at 5:59 p.m.

• Battery report on Rawhide Street in Silver Springs at 6:04 p.m.

• Felony drug arrest in the 1700 block of Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley at 9:04 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the 12 calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• An accident at State Route 341 and Cartwright Road at 10:37 a.m. in which a pregnant woman was injured and taken by helicopter to Washoe Medical Center.

• A woman was unconscious on Waltham Way at 12:41 p.m.

• A citation was issued a driver at 1:33 p.m. on Cartwright Road.

• Drivers were having a dispute over tailgating at the Lockwood Store at 10:45 p.m.
