A memorial service for Dean Francis Gloster, 78, a 15-year Carson City resident, will be 11 a.m. Monday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mr. Gloster died March 10, 2006, at his home.
He was born Jan. 22, 1928, in Alturas, Calif., to Joseph J. Gloster and Kathryn Cloud.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Reno.
Mr. Gloster had a bachelor's degree and worked in casino management.
He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Prospectors Club and the Northern Nevada Gaming Association.
Among his survivors are his wife, Sylvia Russell Gloster of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law Vance and Kathy of Arcadia, Calif., Dean and Nancy of Berkeley, Calif., Mark and Donna of Bandon, Ore., and Skip and Charlie of Sparks; daughters and sons-in-law Cheri and Paul Cordova of Reno and Stormy and Frank Draney of Lawrence, Kan., eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
