Carter helps William Penn to ninth place finish

Carson City's Paul Carter helped the William Penn wrestling team of Iowa to a ninth place finish at the recent NAIA Championships.

William Penn took ninth with 56 points. Carter, a junior, went 1-2 at his second straight national tournament. Carter finished the year at 11-12 at 149 pounds and had one major decision on his way to qualifying for nationals. Carter was also one of 14 wrestlers named as an NAIA academic All-American.
