Dayton softball beats Smith Valley

Jessica Greer pitched a no-hitter to help lead the Dayton softball team to a 12-0 win over Smith Valley on Wednesday at home.

Greer struck out two and walked one in the game that was called after 4 1/2 innings. Breanne DeHaven went 3-for-3 with three doubles, three runs and four RBI, Tony May was 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs, Melissa Goetz went 2-for-2 with a run and an RBI, Brittany Hill had two hits and an RBI and two runs, Melony Cox had a hit and two runs, Brittany Burrows had a hit and a run, Greer had a hit, a run and an RBi and Amanda Beard added a hit.
