• A Carson Middle School student was arrested for allegedly disrupting school and injuring a staff member at 8:16 a.m.


• Accident at West Fifth and South Curry streets at 12:18 p.m.


• Accident in the 3000 block of Northgate Lane at 2:38 p.m.


• Over $3,000 in bad checks were written to a jeweler in the 1300 block of South Stewart Street.


• Vehicle burglary report in the 1000 block of Lindsay Lane at 4:01 p.m.


• A pediatrician found a 3-year-old boy from the community college day-care center running toward College Parkway at 5:33 p.m.

• Misdemeanor drunken driving arrest on Highway 50 East at the Dayton Hill at 3:28 a.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest following a warrant service on Highway 50 East at Dayton Hill at 4:20 a.m.


• Battery report in the 2900 block of Fort Churchill Street in Silver Springs at 4:58 a.m.


• Destruction of property report at the Veteran's Cemetery in Fernley at 7:33 a.m.


• Residential burglary report on Wells Fargo Avenue in Mark Twain at 8:21 a.m.


• Shoplifting report at Scolari's in Fernley at 11:23 a.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest following a warrant service in the Carquest parking lot in Dayton at 10:01 p.m.
