Carson High School senior Jon Josten is producing "Robin Hood" at the Carson City Community Center to complete his senior project for graduation.
Tickets are $3 for children, students and seniors, and $5 for general admission. Tickets are available at the door. The showing is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. April 14. Tickets are $2 for the pre-booked daytime shows for schools, preschools and daycare at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. April 12 and 13.

Carson City School District kindergarten registration ongoing
Kindergarten registration for the Carson City School District continues. A birth certificate and immunization record, including hepatitis vaccination, must be submitted at the time of registration.
A child who is age 5 years on or before Sept. 30 of the 2006-07 school year may be admitted to kindergarten.
Some proof of residency (power bill, gas bill, water bill, voter registration, etc.) in Carson City School District is required at the time of registration.

Colorado governor signs smokefree workplace bill
Colorado Governor Bill Owens recently signed comprehensive smokefree workplace legislation to take place July 1.
The law will clear the air in almost all Colorado workplaces, including restaurants and bars.
Smoking will still be allowed in the gaming area of casinos, but not in casino restaurants and bars.
Colorado joins California, Delaware, New York, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Montana, Vermont, Washington, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and Washington D.C., all of which have passed comprehensive smokefree workplace legislation for workers, including restaurant and bar workers.
