• Motorcycle accident at 5:21 p.m. on Interstate 80. Someone was taken by helicopter to the hospital.
• Accident on Interstate 80 near Derby Dam exit at 6:33 p.m.
District Court
The following people appeared in Carson City District Court on Tuesday:
• Joel Aurelio Alcaraz, 20, was sentenced to three years probation, with a suspended sentence of one year in jail, on a charge of conspiracy to possession a controlled substance.
• Ernesto Espino, 20, pleaded guilty to a charge of discharging a firearm into a structure. He will be sentenced June 20.
• Dennis Elwood Lee III, 25, was reinstated to probation and ordered to complete a boot-camp program on a charge of possession of a credit card without owner's consent.
• Angela Marie Madden, 31, was sentenced to time served on a charge of embezzlement.
• Jader Moralez-Torrez, 20, was sentenced to 18 months probation, with a suspended sentence of six months in jail, on a charge of gross misdemeanor possession or use of a dangerous weapon.
