Three Nevada golfers named all-WAC

RENO - Three University of Nevada golfers were named to the all-Western Athletic Conference squad.

Senior Adam Hagen, who had three top-five finishes and averaged 71.7 this season, was on the five-man first team.

Senior John Cassidy and senior Casey Watabu were second-team selections.

Cassidy, who led the Pack to a sixth-place finish at the WAC Championships, averaged 72.8 this season. He had one top-five and three top-10 finishes. Watabu averaged 72.7 over 33 rounds. He had one top-10 finish.

Boise State's Graham de Laet was the WAC Player of the Year, Fresno State's Matt Shaw was Freshman of the Year and New Mexico State's Scott Lieberwirth was named the conference's top coach.
