The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 22-year-old roofer from Carson City was arrested at 7:02 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear on a traffic matter. Bail was set at $2,805 cash.


• A 25-year-old mechanic from Stagecoach was arrested at 10:10 p.m. Friday at the Lahontan Reservoir on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $3,000 cash.


• A 23-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 3:40 a.m. Saturday in the 3400 block of Airport Road on suspicion of a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court. Bail was set at $977 cash.


• Derek Nelson Thomas, 22, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:13 p.m. Friday at Airport Road and Gordinia Drive on suspicion of felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Thomas was found in possession of 10 Xanax tablets, according to the police report. Bail was set at $3,632.


• A 22-year-old Eagle Valley Children's Home employee from Carson City was arrested at 1:27 a.m. Saturday at Edmonds Drive and Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic matter. Bail was set at $182 cash.


• A 46-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 5:05 p.m. Friday at Rex Circle and Dori Road on suspicion of misdemeanor warrants for domestic battery and contempt of court. Bail was set at $3,956.


• A 53-year-old Silver Springs man was arrested at 8:50 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of South Roop Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and failure to use a turn signal. Bail was set at $1,182.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 151 calls to which deputies responded:


• A home invasion in the 3600 block of Atkins Street in Silver Springs at 2:58 a.m. Friday.


• A vandalism report at Silver Springs High School at 8:26 a.m. Friday.


• A fight in the 6000 block of Frontage Road in Mark Twain at 12:50 p.m. Friday.


• A motor vehicle accident involving property damage in the 400 block of West Main Street in Fernley at 2:38 p.m. Friday.


• A report of a residential burglary in the 100 block of Hardie Lane in Fernley at 6:01 p.m. Friday.


• A report of a domestic dispute in the 1600 block of Round Up Road in Fernley at 9:28 p.m. Saturday.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of a traffic stop at State Route 341 and Calavaras at 6:25 p.m. Friday. Driver was issued a citation for an unlicensed motorcycle.


• A report of a battery in the 300 block of Prospector Road in Dayton at 6:10 p.m. Friday. The report was unfounded.
