Judith Suzanne Kennedy, 67, a 14-year Dayton resident, died May 9, 2006, in Reno.

Mrs. Kennady was born Jan. 17, 1939, in Indianapolis to Julian Grant and Helen Sparkes.

She married Richard M. Kennady on Sept. 12, 1957 in Indianapolis.

Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Walnut Creek, Calif.

She was a member of the Meadow Lake Country Club in Escondido, Calif.; the Pleasant Hill Country Club in Pleasant Hill, Calif.; the Dayton Valley Ladies Golf Club of Dayton and the Eagle Valley Ladies Golf Club of Carson City.

She was a seamstress.

She enjoyed golfing and camping.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Kathy and Kelly.

Among her survivors are her husband of Dayton; son, Richard Kennady II of Reno; daughters Lorie Veal of Carson City, and Kathryn Arbuckle of El Dorado Hills, Calif.; sisters Joan Riley of Deerfield Beach, Fla., Pamela Hofflander of Nampa, Idaho, Tracy Chugani of Buda, Texas, and Tabitha Lacy of Birmingham, Ala.; brothers Julian Sparkes of Cabot, Ark., and John Sparkes of Caldwell, Idaho; and 10 grandchildren.

Burial will be at the Dayton Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
