The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Michael Howard Menke Jr., 24, a transient, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor injury to motor vehicle. Bail was set at $30,347.


• Paulette Benjamin, 41, a warehouse worker from Carson City, was arrested at 5:23 p.m. Tuesday in the 3700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of burglary. Bail was set at $2,632.


• Linda Ennis, 45, of Reno, was arrested at 2:34 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of East William Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle, and possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription. Bail was set at $6,132.


The following are some of the 136 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Accident in the 1800 block of South Carson Street at 6:37 a.m.


• Trespassing report at Carson High School at 12:08 p.m. A misdemeanor arrest was made.


• A vehicle burglary report in the legislative parking garage on Stewart Street at 12:40 p.m.


• A report of patient poking a hospital employee at 1:01 p.m.


• A man tried to register a vehicle reported stolen out of Arizona at the Department of Motor Vehicles at 1:18 p.m.


• Coroner call in the 3000 block of Ormsby Boulevard at 5:50 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the 97 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Accident on Main Street in Fernley at 9:21 a.m.


• Narcotics report in Yerington at 10:57 a.m.


• Battery report at Fernley High School at 10:59 a.m.


• Felony arrest at the Dayton Post Office at 12:52 p.m.


• Residential burglary report in the 1200 block of Newlands Drive in Fernley at 2:58 p.m.


• Accident on Highway 50 East in Mound House at 3:35 p.m.


• Accident on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 3:53 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest following the report of a domestic dispute on Tonopah Street in Silver Springs at 9:32 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the 16 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Traffic citation at 7:40 a.m. on Grizzley Road.


• A purse with identification and $21 was found at the courthouse at 2:37 p.m.


• Traffic citation at 5:19 p.m.


• Three drug-related arrests in Lockwood at 8:16 p.m.
