Highway 50 East
Construction continues through the end of the year on Highway 50 east from the intersection of Highway 50 and State Route 341 to Fortune. Contract for widening and repaving totals $14.3 million. Eastbound lanes to remain open between 2 and 8 p.m. Contractors, Road and Highway Builders, of Reno, were fined $7,000 for delays on Tuesday, said Scott Magruder, spokesman for the Nevada Department of Transportation.
