A Reno woman suffered a cut to her finger Thursday afternoon in a rollover accident on Lakeview Hill.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Lisa Flippen, 27, was southbound on Highway 395 just past Lakeview Drive about noon when she lost control of her 2003 Honda Element. The vehicle drifted off to the right. When Flippen tried to regain control, she overcorrected to the left, struck a Dodge Intrepid and overturned.

The Intrepid sustained some front-end damage but the driver was unhurt and pulled over at the bottom of the off-ramp onto Carson Street.

Flippen had gotten out of the wreckage on her own by the time rescue crews arrived. She was transported to the hospital as a precaution.

Southbound traffic was reduced to one lane for about 90 minutes until the Honda could be removed.
