Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 28-year-old woman from Stagecoach was arrested at 12:50 a.m. Friday at the Carson City Jail on a warrant charging violation of probation. Also arrested was a 47-year-old transient on the same charge. Bail for each was set at $3,000.

• James Lonnie Hines, 23, a crew leader from Stagecoach, was arrested at 2:59 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony embezzlement and violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $3,500.

• Coroner call in the 3000 block of Ormsby Boulevard at 7:50 a.m.

• Embezzlement report in the 100 block of Jacobsen Way at 10:45 a.m.

• Threat report in the 3300 block of South Carson Street at 12:09 p.m.

• Fight in the 2500 block of North Carson Street at 12:10 p.m.

• Petty larceny report in the 500 block of East William Street at 1 p.m.

• Domestic battery report in the 500 block of Westview Avenue at 3:42 p.m.

• Accident at College Parkway and Airport Road at 5:09 p.m.

• Fight report in the 10000 block of Highway 50 East in Mound House at 1:59 a.m.

• Accident on Highway 208 in Mason Valley at 8:09 a.m.

• Missing person report in the 100 block of Dayton Village Parkway at 10:44 a.m.

• Coroner call on Main Street in Silver City at 10:46 a.m.

• Accident in the 2200 block of Highway 50 East in Dayton at 2:41 p.m.

• Accident on Interstate 80 in Fernley at 2:48 p.m.

• Accident on Interstate 80 in Fernley at 3:04 p.m.

• Child abuse or neglect report on Shadow Lane in Fernley at 4:37 p.m.

• Dog bite report in the 300 block of Sam Clemens Avenue at 7:15 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the 16 calls to which deputies responded:

• An officer reported cutting his hand on what appeared to be a "crack pipe" at the Lockwood substation at 7:34 a.m.

• Two dogs were seen tied to cinder blocks near Q Street at 1:54 p.m.
