Eagle Lake, Calif. open to fishing

Eagle Lake in Northern California opened its 2006 fishing season on Saturday, May 27. That season closes on Dec. 31.

The limit is two fish per day or four in possession.

Eagle Lake tributaries, including Pine Creek above S.R. 44: The limit is 5 per day, 10 in possession.

Eagle Lake inside the breakwater at the Gallatin Marina and Pine Creek Slough and Pine Creek below S.R. 44 are closed to fishing all year.
