A funeral for Danny Wirawan, 34, a four-year Minden resident, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. A viewing will take place one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Wirawan died Oct. 24, 2006, at Renown Medical Center in Reno. He was born Jan. 2, 1972, in Jakarta, Indonesia, to Fong Min Sin and Winawati Fadjar.
Before moving to Minden, Mr. Wirawan lived in Jakarta, Indonesia and New York State.
He had a bachelors degree.
He was an electronic engineer in quality control for Steam Turbine Blading.
He enjoyed electronics, photography, and "Never Enough Ballroom" dancing.
He belonged to "Never Enough Ballroom" at St. Gall Catholic Church.
Among his survivors are his mother of Jakarta, Indonesia; sisters and brothers-in-law Fonny Wirawatti Fadjar and Djonny Hermanto of the United Kingdom, Wenny Wirawati Fadjar and Danny Chen of Los Angeles and Yenny and Sudirman Irawati of Jakarta, Indonesia; one niece and two nephews.
Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
