The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Michael Davidson, 44, a transient construction worker, was arrested at 9:33 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Rand Avenue on suspicion of felony failure to appear after admission to bail, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic needle. Bail was set at $26,632.


• A 20-year-old music teacher was arrested at 9:43 p.m. in the 700 block of Silver Oak on Tuesday on two warrants charging misdemeanor failure to appear and minor consuming alcohol.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• Vehicle burglary report in the 3300 block of Otha Street at 7:42 a.m.


• Commercial burglary report in the 3500 block of Arrowhead Drive at 1:29 p.m.


• A report of a man fondling himself while watching children at Mills Park at 1:34 p.m. No arrest was made.


• Battery report in the 4100 block of East Fifth Street at 3:13 p.m.


• Residential burglary report in the 3400 block of Highway 50 East at 3:59 p.m.


• A deer was struck by a vehicle on Kings Canyon Road at 5:41 p.m.


• Fight report on College Parkway at 11:51 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of vehicles displaying election signs parked in front of the polling place on South B Street.


• A report of several cows on Peri Ranch Road at 3:10 p.m.


• A deer was struck by a vehicle on Six Mile Canyon Road at 5:25 p.m.
