RENO - One man was killed and two people were injured following a Sunday accident in Lyon County, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.
According to the patrol, Alan Manire, 54, of Fallon, was heading west on Highway 50 when his Ford pickup crossed into the eastbound lane and struck another truck near Boyer Drive around 9:30 p.m.
Manire was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other truck, Linda Busch, 56, of Stagecoach, and her husband, Dennis, were flown to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno with serious injuries, the patrol said.
An investigation continued.
