A memorial service for Rose E. Balsley, 77, a Findlay, Ohio, resident, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home in Findlay. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Balsley died Nov. 9, 2006, at Fox Run Nursing Home. She was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Hancock County, Ohio, to Roscoe St. Meyer and Almettie Woods St. Meyer.
She was married to and divorced her first husband, Myron Montgomery Sr. She married Rolland Coldren in August 1952, and Alfred Balsley in 1971.
Before moving to Findlay, Mrs. Balsley lived in Carson City for more than 20 years.
She was a homemaker and was active in the Carson City Senior Citizens Center and its gift shop. She belonged to AMVETS, the DAV and American Legion Auxiliaries in Findlay, and McComb, Ohio.
She enjoyed bingo, crafts, crocheting and slot machines.
She was preceded in death by her second husband in August 1952 and her third husband in March 1990, and by son Myron Montgomery Jr.; by brothers Bill Bob and Jerry St. Meyer; and by sisters Edith Yates, Virginia Thompson, Caroline Radabaugh and Leah Bell St. Meyer.
Among her survivors are sons and daughters-in-law Charles and Julie Coldren of McComb, Ohio, and Ronald and Julie Coldren of Findlay; sons Timothy Coldren of Akron, Ohio, and Daryl Coldren of Florida; daughters and sons-in-law Mary Lou and Jeff Gibson of Carey, Ohio, Reva JoAn and Jim Thompson of Columbus, Ohio, and Janet and Randy Pohl Kimmel of Wapakoneta, Ohio; stepson and daughter-in-law Jon and Judy Balsley of Florida; daughter-in-law Pat Montgomery; sisters Barbara Main of Findlay, Janet Laney of Fostoria, Ohio and Janice Dillon of Bettsville, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Van Horn Cemetery in Vanlue, Ohio.
