A graveside service for William Vaughn Niday, 77, of Carson City, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Niday died Nov. 14, 2006. He was born Dec. 25, 1928, to Raymond and Leona Niday in Newman, Calif.
He married Geraldine "Geri" Arends in 1953. She preceded him in death in 2002.
Among his survivors are his second wife, Madgie Nyswonger; son Bill Arends and daughter-in-law Lauren; daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Dugan Pulsipher; brother Raymond; brothers and sisters-in-law Dick and Bernice and Don and Lenore; five grandchildren and numerous extended-family members.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, or your local hospice.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
