A memorial service for George T. Anderson, 67, a four-year Dayton resident, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Autumn Funerals and Cremations in Carson City.

Mr. Anderson died Nov. 15, 2006, in Carson City. He was born Dec. 9, 1938, in Rochester, N.Y., to Harold and Stephanie (Kosuda) Anderson.

He graduated from Byron-Bergen High School in 1957.

He married Jo Ann Nutter in Rochester, N.Y., on Oct. 13, 1962.

He worked as an electrician for the IBEW Electrical Union for 35 years.

Before retiring and moving to Dayton, Mr. Anderson lived in Arizona, Texas, Washington and California.

He was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church and a union member with Local 595 in Oakland. He belonged to the Silver Sage Good Sam camping organization.

He enjoyed working on old cars and carpentry.

Among his survivors are his wife of Dayton; sons David Anderson of Dayton and Jeffrey Anderson of Stockton, Calif.; daughter, Elizabeth Findley of Squaw Valley, Calif.; brothers John Anderson of Rochester, N.Y., and Harold Anderson of Bergen, N.Y.; sisters Marjorie Wallace of Bergen, and Carolyn Stimson of Chelsea, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Autumn Funerals and Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
