Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare will host a flu clinic 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the Carson Mall. All clinics are open to the public, and no appointments are necessary. Flu shots are recommended for those with chronic illnesses and those over 55. For information, call 445-5595.
Blood donors will be entered in drawings for gift certificates

Greeting card workshop at the senior center

Album-making class at the Senior Center

'Pickles' creator to speak at WNCC

'Artful Afternoons' in December at the BAC

WNCC Yerington to hold nursing info sessions
The Western Nevada Community College in Yerington, in partnership with the South Lyon Medical Center, will be holding two information sessions for those interested in a career as a nurse.
The sessions are 2:45 p.m. at Yerington High School and at 6:30 p.m. at South Lyon Medical Center on Thursday.
Each session lasts approximately two hours.

History for the Holidays to be held Saturday
The Nevada State Historical Society will be hosting "History for the Holidays," the society's annual winter event, 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the Historical Society's offices, 1650 N. Virginia St. in Reno.
This event includes art for sale, raffle prizes, seasonal music, book signings, kids crafts and more.
There is also a 20 percent discount on museum store purchases.
