Sondra Jean "Jeannie" McDaniel, 65, a Yerington resident, died Nov. 24, 2006, at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington.
Mrs. McDaniel was born Dec. 8, 1940, in California, to Ralph and Marguirete Cline Ellison.
She worked at the South Lyon Medical Center as a certified nursing assistant for the past 12 years.
Mrs. McDaniel was a musician and had played at the Grand Ole Opry and other venues with her husband, Arlo McDaniel, for many years. She enjoyed the ocean.
Among her survivors are her husband of Yerington; children Misty and her husband Delmar Stevens of Yerington, Kyle and his wife Kathy Hampshire of Carson City, and Terry King of Phoenix; brothers Mike Ellison of South Carolina and Glen Ellison of California; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
At her request no services will be held.
Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington is in charge of arrangements.
