The Pyramid Lake Store, located on the Pyramid Lake Highway, held its annual Lahontan cutthroat trout fishing derby on Fri.-Sun. of the Thanksgiving weekend.
According to Carla Molino, there were 65 fishermen entered in that derby.
First place in the derby was won with an 8-pounds, 11-ounce Cutthroat caught by Kevin Listman of Reno, who won $812.50.
Second place was 8-pounds, 5-ounces caught by Tony Wallace of Reno who won $487.50.
Third place was 8-pounds, 1-ounce caught by Joe Clark of Reno who won $325.00.
