Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 73-year-old engineer from Carson City was arrested at 7:30 p.m. at Saliman and Fire Box roads on Monday on suspicion of misdemeanor hit-and-run and drunken driving. Bail was set at $3,264.

• A 32-year-old excavator from Carson City was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Monday at Idaho Street and Fairview Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $237.

• A 38-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 11:22 a.m. Monday on East Long Street on suspicion of failure to yield from private drive and driving without a license. Bail was set at $714.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Fight report at Russell Way and Long Street at 12:06 a.m.

• A Ford F150 plumbing truck was stolen from the 1400 block of East Long Street at 6:29 a.m.

• Coroner call in the 1900 block of Medical Parkway at 9:37 a.m.

• A report of a broken window on a business in the 3400 block of Highway 50 East at 9:56 a.m.

• Battery report at Carson High School following a fight across the street at 12:52 p.m.

• Vehicle theft report in the 1600 block of Conestoga Drive at 4:28 p.m.

• Hit and run report at South Carson and Rhodes streets at 6:39 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 7:54 a.m.

• Commercial burglary report on Chaves Road in Mark Twain at 9:32 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Silver Springs at 10:59 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest in the 200 block of Carnoustie Court in Dayton at 4:09 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 800 block of Conestoga Way in Mark Twain at 7:13 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest in the 5200 block of Desert Lane in Stagecoach at 8:21 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Three reports of vehicles stuck on ice on State Route 341 at 9:11 a.m., 9:14 a.m. and at 9:49 a.m.

• Traffic citation on South C Street at 9:44 a.m.
