A rosary will be said for Barbara H. Dias, 78, a Carson City resident since 1981, at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with the funeral Mass to follow at 2 p.m. Visitation will take place at the rosary.
Mrs. Dias died Nov. 23, 2006, in Carson City.
She was born Feb. 15, 1928, in Honolulu to Frank Gomieo and Margaret Perry.
She married George Dias on July 28, 1956, in Honolulu.
Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Dias lived in Honolulu.
Mrs. Dias graduated from high school and attended a business college.
She was a homemaker.
She belonged to the Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; daughters Frances Charters of Watsonville, Calif., Patricia Nitta of Kona, Hawaii, and Carolyn Dias of Ohio; son, Wayne Dias of Carson City; and sisters Junie of California and Thelma of Georgia.
Burial will take place at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
