Sheriff's Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Joshua Terry Stevens, 22, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 4:20 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.

• A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 3800 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor petty larceny. Bail was set at $347.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 3:40 a.m.

• Hit-and-run accident in the 500 block of North Carson Street at 4:12 a.m.

• Non-injury accident at Fairview and Desatoya drives at 7:03 a.m.

• Graffiti reports at Corbett and Johnson streets, East John Street, North Plaza Street, Clearview Drive and Woodside Drive.

• Child abuse report on Nye Lane at 2:13 p.m.

• Hit-and-run accident in the 300 block of West Fifth Street at 4:47 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Brush fire on Enterprise Way in Dayton at 11:35 a.m.

• Residential burglary report in the 800 block of Branstetter Avenue in Mark Twain at 6:57 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Traffic citation on State Route 341 at 7:57 a.m.

• Possible structure fire on Interstate 80 at 8:52 a.m.

• A report of food smeared on the front of a building on North C Street at 10:55 a.m.

• Traffic citation on State Route 79 at 1:12 p.m.

• Traffic citation on D Street at 2:25 p.m.

• Traffic citation on State Route 79 at 4:20 p.m.
