David Richard Welton, 47, a three-year Dayton resident, died Oct. 1, 2006, at his home.
Mr. Welton was born April 21, 1959, in Lynwood, Calif., to Richard D. Welton and Judith Anne Moore.
He married Jane Grondin on April 26, 2003, in Gardnerville.
Before moving to Dayton, Mr. Welton lived in Gardnerville for many years.
He was an electrician, and enjoyed golf, science, hiking and nature.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Among his survivors are his wife of Dayton; daughters Katie Welton of Dayton and Danica Welton of Topaz Ranch; stepdaughter, Sonya Gahn of Massachusetts; stepson, Shawn Grondin of Mound House; brothers Alex Welton of Colorado and Jeff Welton of Gardnerville; one aunt; and one uncle.
Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Crematory, and a private family service will be held.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
