A memorial service for Leonard Lee "Windy Breeze" Dick, 57, a Ketchikan, Alaska, resident, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Carson Colony Community Center, with Rev. Ernest Hooper officiating.

Mr. Dick died Sept. 21, 2006, in Ketchikan. He was born April 6, 1949, in Reno, to Sidney Washoe Dick and Irene Dorothy Miller.

He attended Douglas High School and Welding Trade School in San Jose, Calif.

He worked at Ketchikan Ready Mix as a welder for the 10 years prior to his death. He was a certified welder.

He was a member of the Washoe tribe.

He enjoyed traveling and meeting new people.

Among his survivors are his daughter Mykalene Lynn Miller; sisters Eleanore E. Muscott, Lorraine J. Dick and Minnie Mae Dick, all of Carson City, and Charlene Dick of Washington; brothers Virgil M. Dick and Danny Dick, both of Carson City, and Wayne Dick of California.

Witzleben Family Funeral Home in Anchorage, Alaska, is in charge of arrangements.
