The Ormsby Sportsmen's Association (OSA), a local sportsmen's organization for hunters and fishermen, will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening, Oct. 17 at the Carson Nugget Convention Center.

The evening will feature Kim Toulouse of the Nevada Department of Wildlife with a multi-subject presentation on: The new NDOW volunteer program soon to be on the Internet, seed collection for the recently burnt areas in Northeastern Nevada and the trapping and transplanting of antelope from those burnt areas.

Through the year, OSA meets on the third Tuesday of each month for the months of January-May, has outdoor picnics in June-September and is back indoors in October and November. There is no regular meeting in December, because of the club's annual banquet.

All OSA meetings, functions and activities are free of charge and open to all club members and to anyone else who is interested in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, etc.

The annual membership dues are $5 for adults and $2 for youngsters under the age of 16.
