Carson City man charged with lewdness with child

Stephen Dixon Garrett, 20, a retail store employee from Carson City, was arrested Saturday afternoon after sheriff's deputies responded to a sexual assault call at his home in the 400 block of West Winnie Lane at 12:18 p.m. Saturday.

Garrett was charged with felony lewdness with a child under 14 and misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol.

According to the arrest report, Garrett allegedly told police he was in his room with the female victim where he hugged, kissed her cheek and told her to take her clothes off.

The victim, whose age was not given, told police Garrett allegedly fondled her body and licked her stomach.

The girl's mother called police after the girl left the room.

Garrett's bail was set at $75,237.
