A Dayton man was arrested Sunday after allegedly threatening a family in a road-rage incident.

According to Storey County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Dias, a Sun Valley couple was heading toward Virginia City on State Route 341 with their two infants at about 4:30 p.m. when they encountered motorcyclist Jesse Wade Dillon, 20.

Dias said Dillon allegedly became enraged at the couple and forced them off the road, then parked his bike in front of their car and challenged the driver to exit.

Dillon also allegedly took off his helmet and threatened to smash the window. He then left, and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of reckless driving, driving without a motorcycle license and obstruction of a peace officer. His motorcycle was impounded.

Two hours later, Storey County deputies were called to the Virginia City RV Park to investigate the report of a suspicious person in the laundry room. There officers allegedly found Neil P. Saunders, 23, of Virginia City, hiding a pipe in his shirt sleeve.

Dias said Saunders became uncooperative with deputies and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer in addition to a charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

Also arrested in Storey County last week were:

• Nicholas Mashburn, 21, of Virginia City, on suspicion of unlawful use of a controlled substance and contempt of court.

• David Reed, 37, of Dayton, on suspicion of unlawful use of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempting to elude or evade a peace officer, drunken driving and driving on a suspended license.

• Joseph Robasco, 60, of Reno, on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and driving on a suspended license.
