A memorial service for Alliene Crocker Hunnewell, 98, will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the Big Pine Community Methodist Church in Big Pine, Calif. Burial will follow at the Big Pine Cemetery.

Mrs. Hunnewell died Oct. 9, 2006, in Carson City. She was born in Big Pine on June 21, 1908, to Fred and Carrie Crocker.

She attended schools in Big Pine, Calif., and UCLA.

She married Theodore B. Hunnewell on Sept. 2, 1932.

She was a lifetime member of the Big Pine Community Methodist Church, a charter member of the Big Pine Golddiggers service club, a member of the Big Pine School Board and a member of the Big Pine Cemetery District.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sister Laurette Chance; brothers James and Albert Crocker; and twin brother Allen Crocker.

Among her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law Ted and Carol Hunnewell of Fallon and Charles and Carolyn Hunnewell of Big Pine, Calif.; four granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; six nieces and two nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Big Pine Community Methodist Church, PO Box 579, Big Pine, CA 93513.

Brune & Buck Mortuary in Bishop, Calif. is in charge of arrangements.
