A funeral Mass for Henry L. Bortoli, 93, a 12-year Gardnerville resident, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's in Cupertino, Calif., with burial to follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Oak Hill Funeral Home, 300 Curtner Ave., San Jose, Calif.
Mr. Bortoli died Oct. 17, 2005, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno. He was born June 23, 1913, in Stockton, Calif., to Francesco and Adelaide Lippi Bortoli.
Before moving to Gardnerville, Mr. Bortoli lived in Santa Clara, Calif.
He was the owner and operator of Hank and Frank Drayage Co. in San Jose.
He enjoyed bowling, sports, the San Francisco 49ers and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by wife, Gina Bortoli, in 1989.
Among his survivors are his son, Frank Bortoli of Lincoln, Calif.; daughter Carol Stiltz of Gardnerville; brother Vellito Bortoli of Guamo, Italy; sisters Nellie Giannini of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Irma Tambellin, Emola Farnesi and Pola Sbragia, all of Guamo; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Walton Funeral Home in Reno is in charge of arrangements.
