BAC-TV to show political forums

BAC-TV cable access will broadcast the Northern Nevada League of Women Voters political forums held last week at the Brewery Arts Center and co-sponsored by the Nevada Appeal.

Tune in to cable access channel 26 for full-length broadcasts.

Forums for state office candidates, justice of the peace and district attorney will be on Thursday at 9 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m.

Forums featuring city supervisor and school board candidates will be Friday at 11 a.m.

Once editing of the forums is complete, viewers can choose the areas that most interest them. The single-issue programs will air on cable channels 10 and 26.

The general election is Nov. 7. Early votes can be cast through Nov. 3.
