The Carson High volleyball team had an impressive showing on Tuesday against Elko, sweeping the Indians 25-21, 25-22, 25-16.
Sandie Howard had five kills, Kailey Taylor had four kills and Shannon Earwood had three kills, Mavil Diaz had six digs, Nikki Keller had four blocks and Lindsay Ford added 20 assists, three digs and four blocks for Carson.
"It looked good," Carson coach Shana Wilkins said. "It looked very good. We played very consistent. We played very well, actually. It was a great match to watch."

The Grizzlies swept the Vikings 25-20, 25-12, 26-24. Nancy Burrows had 11 kills and three aces, Emily Aguiar had six kills and three blocks, Casey Burke had five kills and nine digs, Madison Hardy had 27 assists and four blocks, Rebecca Pate had nine digs, Bree Crook had three digs and Amy Scott added three blocks for Galena.
Galena won the junior varsity match 26-24, 25-18 and lost the freshmen match, 16-25, 16-25.
