A two-story dental office is planned for northwest Carson City at the corner of GS Richards Boulevard and Ivy Baldwin Circle, said the project architect.
The 10,000-square-foot building will house Dr. Hadi Soltani's new general dentistry office and leasable space, said Ruben Burrola, senior architects with Archeion Nevada LLC.
The cost of the building was not available.
The architect said the building will go in for a plan check with the building department next week.
"We hope to break ground in five to seven weeks," Burrola said.
The contractor is Al Shankle Construction, of Minden. The 0.6 of an acre was purchased by Soltani Properties for $534,600 in February 2006.
"Dr. Soltani is taking the whole first floor and a small portion of the second floor and the rest will be leased."
The building, located east of the Silver Oak Golf Course, should be ready for occupation in February or April.
