A graveside service for Lucille H. Pinkind, 86, a 10-year Carson City resident, will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress, Calif. Visitation will take place at the Forest Lawn Mortuary.

Mrs. Pinkind died Sept. 4, 2006, in Carson City.

She was born Feb. 9, 1920, in Hardy, Ariz., to William and Hessie Harbison.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Carson City and the Retired Officers Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Pinkind, and son Fred Whitted.

Among her survivors are her daughters Robin Chaplin of Carson City and Joanne Stewart of Thayer, Mo.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
