Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Michael Kenneth Pierson, 41, a laborer in custody on burglary charges was additionally booked into jail on a Sacramento warrant charging him as a fugitive from parole. No bail was set.

• A 40-year-old landscaper from Carson City was arrested at 10:54 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $1,132.

The following are some of the 134 calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Accident at Nevada and John streets at 11:16 a.m.

• Graffiti reports on East Washington Street and Goni Road.

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 2:11 p.m.

• A report of a neighbor with a gun in the 2600 block of Carmine Street at 3:44 p.m. An arrest was made.

• Items were stolen from a patio in the 3200 block of North Roop Street at 6:20 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 1800 block of Newman Place at 6:27 p.m.

• A report of a threatening message left on the cell phone of a 14-year-old girl at 9:17 p.m.

• Accident on Pursel Lane in Mason Valley at 8:21 a.m.

• Child abuse report in the 700 block of Highway 50 East in Dayton at 11:42 a.m.

• Fire on Fort Churchill Street in Silver Springs at 12:02 a.m.

• Missing-person report in the 4900 block of Cheyenne Trail in Stagecoach at 3:33 p.m.

• Residential burglary report on Jacobs Road at 3:51 p.m.

• Felony arrest in Mason Valley on Highway 95 Alternate at 4:51 p.m.

• Fire on Quilici Road at 6:56 p.m. in Dayton Valley.

• Residential burglary report on Stope Drive in Dayton at 6:59 p.m.

• Residential burglary report on Cory Way in Fernley at 8:31 p.m.

• Battery report in the 400 block of Valley Circle in Dayton at 10:34 p.m.
