The Carson High volleyball team rebounded from a disappointing effort against Douglas High with a 25-15, 25-16, 25-10 win at Hug on Thursday.
Morgan Nuckolls had six kills, Kailey Taylor and Danae Eckart each had four kills, Mavel Diaz had six aces and four digs, Nicole Carlevato had three digs, Nikki Keller had two blocks and three kills and Lindsay Ford had 21 assists for Carson.
"Hug is obviously a lower level team," Carson coach Shana Wilkins said. "We worked on things to improve from what we did against Douglas. I thought we did a good job of doing that."
Carson was coming off a match on Tuesday in which it was beaten in three straight games by the Tigers.
Wilkins said her team was "trying to put back together what Douglas broke apart. We did better. It was a good night."

Carson won the junior varsity match 28-26, 25-15. Karli Dodge had five kills, Samantha Hoch had four kills and two digs, Lisa Shores had seven digs and Megan Nuckolls had two aces and 13 assists.

Carson (10-2) won the freshmen match 25-5, 25-13. Sara Anderson had three kills, four aces, one block and eight assists, Bree Young had one kill and seven aces, Andrea Clutska had five aces, one kill and two blocks, Caitlin Berkich had one kill, Katie Carlevato had three aces and four assists, Kendra Krupp had one kill, Kelly Kerkla had one ace, Alexis Church had one kill and Amanda Rupert had one kill and five aces.
