The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court.


• A 45-year-old Sacramento man was arrested at 1:50 a.m. on suspicion of reckless driving at 10th and Carson streets after being clocked at more than 50 mph in a 25 zone, according to the arrest report. He was also arrested on suspicion of driving without a license, failure to have valid insurance and failure to appear on driving under the influence charges in Washoe County.


• Quentin N. Reading of Carson City, 28, was held in lieu of $15,000 bail on suspicion of felony embezzlement. He is accused of stealing a butcher block table valued at $379 from JM Furniture.


Lyon County


The following are some of the 61 calls to which deputies responded Friday:


• A DUI driver was reported at 12:59 a.m. on Highway 208 in Mason Valley.


• A commercial burglary was reported at 4 a.m. in the first block of Kit Kat Road.


• A person reported being verbally and physically threatened at 4:33 a.m. in the 600 block of Angela Street in Fernley.


• A warrant for drug possession and sales was served in the 100 block of Eldorado Avenue in Mark Twain at 5:18 a.m.


• A person was reported missing at 8:29 a.m. in Smith Valley on Wild Peach Lane.


• A battery was reported in the 100 block of Highway 95A at 8:37 a.m. in Fernley.


• Fraudulent activity was reported in the 2700 block of Highway 95A in Silver Springs at 9 a.m.


• A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1000 block of Pyramid Avenue in Silver Springs at 9:27 a.m.


• Commercial burglary report on Newman Lane in Mound House at 10:38 a.m.


• A report of child abuse or neglect was reported at the Silver Springs substation at 1:54 p.m.


• A stalking report was taken in the 700 block of Shadow Lane in Fernley at 3:54 p.m.


• An elder abuse report was taken at the Dayton substation at 4:55 p.m.


• Juvenile problem reported in the 4000 block of Farm District Road in Fernley at 5:21 p.m.


• Traffic accident at Main Street and Fremont Lane in Fernley at 552 p.m.


• Domestic dispute on Crosby Lane in Smith Valley at 6:17 p.m.


• A warrant was served at Penny and Main streets in Fernley at 7:29 p.m.


• Death investigation in the 200 block of Highway 208 in Mason Valley at 8:32 p.m.


• Battery reported in the 200 block of Meadow Creek in Fernley at 8:53 p.m.


• DUI drivers reported Highway 50 in Mark Twain, on Flowery Avenue in Dayton, in Fernley and on 95A in Mason Valley all between 11 p.m. and midnight.
