A Carson City woman pleaded guilty in District Court on Monday for her part in a lewd act near the children's train at Mills Park.
Mathilda Ortiz-Barney, 58, entered a plea to one count of gross misdemeanor conspiracy to commit a sex act in public. She and Juan Camacho-Lopez, 58, were arrested in August on suspicion of felony sex acts in public and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
This isn't the first time Ortiz-Barney and Camacho-Lopez have gotten into trouble for being amorous outdoors. In July 2002, the couple was also arrested for showing too much love at Mills Park. In December 2002, she was sentenced to five months in jail after pleading guilty to a gross misdemeanor.
A court date for Camacho-Lopez has yet to be set.
