A funeral for Ernest Marvin Flores, 49, an eight-month Carson City resident, will be at noon Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, C-Hill Building, Carson City. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Flores died Sept. 25, 2006, in Carson City. He was born Feb. 20, 1957, in San Jose, Calif., to Ernest Valador Flores and Emma Flores.

He married Robin Flores on March 4, 1989, in Santa Clara, Calif.

Before moving to Carson City, Mr. Flores lived at South Lake Tahoe.

He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, camping and spending time with family and friends.

He was a building contractor.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hot Springs Ward.

He was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Alfonso Flores.

Among his survivors are his mother; his wife of Carson City; sons Jason Flores of Reno and Kenny Flores of Carson City; daughters Sarah Flores of Woodland, Calif., and Carmen Flores of Carson City; and seven grandchildren.

Burial will take place at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Ernest Marvin Flores Trust Fund to care for his children, 777 Silver Oak Dr., Apt. C112, Carson City, NV, 89706.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
