The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 25-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 8:07 a.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $3,000.


• A 31-year-old asphalt worker from Minneapolis was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of misdemeanor probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.


• Ceasar Munoz, 28, of Carson City, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. at Saliman Road and Fifth Street on suspicion of misdemeanor parole violation. No bail was set.


• Milo Robert Cook III, 27, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 3500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $20,000.


• John Henry Collins Jr., 36, unemployed from Reno, was arrested at 2:03 a.m. Wednesday at Roop Street and Beverly Drive on suspicion of felony probation violation, misdemeanor speeding, driving without a license and possession of marijuana. No bail was set.


The following are some of the 144 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Residential burglary report with an arrest in the 500 block of North Stewart Street at 4:17 a.m.


• Commercial burglary report in the 1400 block of Medical Parkway at 7:17 a.m.


• Missing person report in the 3500 block of Highway 50 East at 11:55 a.m.


• Corrections officers found an "unsecured" vehicle in the Fifth Street parking lot in which they discovered needles and a knife. The female driver was detained and arrested on a misdemeanor a 3:05 p.m.


• A woman reported her roommate was trying to steal her car stereo in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road at 2:43 p.m.


• A father reported his son left home Monday night and hadn't returned or gone to school by 4:20 p.m. Tuesday.


• A woman reported her father-in-law grabbed her by the neck and pulled her hair in the 1200 block of Goldfield Avenue at 4:38 p.m.


• A caller reported seeing two juveniles spray-painting graffiti on a freeway median just north of Highway 50 East. Deputies were unable to locate the subjects, but there was graffiti found on the median at 5:02 p.m.


• Residential burglary report in the 2900 block of Highway 50 East at 5:05 p.m.


• A woman reported her 14-year-old grandson and 29-year-old daughter were pushing her around in the 100 block of North Saliman Road at 7:27 p.m.


• Coroner call in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard at 7:48 p.m.


• A silver Dodge Neon hit another vehicle and fled the scene in the intersection of Winnie Lane and North Carson Street at 10:25 p.m.


• A report of three men using a "picture-making machine" at Wal-Mart to download child porn. When officers arrived, they discovered an uncle making a calendar out of family photographs of his nephew, including one in which the infant was nude. No charges were filed.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 114 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• Felony arrest at Scolari's in Yerington at 11:42 a.m.


• Fire on Chavez Road in Dayton at 12:46 p.m.


• Report of an assault with a deadly weapon on River Road in Mark Twain at 2:55 p.m.


• Accident on Interstate 80 in the westbound lanes in Fernley at 3:25 p.m.


• Accident on Pete Hendrichs Road in Mason Valley at 6:30 p.m.


• Felony arrest in the 2900 block of Antelope Street in Silver Springs at 7:07 p.m.


• Felony arrest in the 1100 block of Wild Cherry Lane in Fernley at 7:29 p.m.


• Misdemeanor arrest in the 2200 block of Deer Street in Silver Springs at 7:29 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the 14 calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:


• A report of a 16-year-old bleeding at Virginia City High School at 12:21 p.m.


• Report of a dog barking for two hours on South K Street at 6:39 p.m.


• Traffic citation issued at 7:44 p.m. on Empire Road.
