KINGS BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Two Lake Tahoe men were arrested Thursday on charges of raping a 7-year-old girl, authorities said.
The Placer County sheriff's office said the assault occurred three years ago, but wasn't reported until August when the victim, now 10, underwent a medical examine and a nurse contacted authorities.
Jesus Dominguez Rodriguez, 30, and Juan Dominguez Rodriguez, 27, were arrested at their Kings Beach home.
The two men are known to the victim and her family, authorities said.
The suspects each were charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, and were being held on $250,000 bail.
They were scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Monday in Superior Court in Tahoe City, the sherif's office said.
