Yerington volleyball beats Dayton

The Yerington High volleyball team won the battle for first in the Northern 3A on Saturday, beating Dayton 25-17, 25-13, 25-17.

Yerington (23-1) improved to 8-0 in league while Dayton fell to 6-2.

Kayla Lommori had 19 kills, two blocks, four digs and two aces, Dena Helme had six kills, six digs and an ace, Bre Tognoli had three kills, six assists, six digs and an ace, Kiara Rosse had three kills, 22 assists, four digs, four blocks and an ace, Angela Marraccini had two kills, two digs and an ace Tashina Conner had two kills and three blocks, Rani Williams and Stephanie Pellegrini each had a kill, Danelle Briston had five digs and an ace and Mari Cliften added three digs for Yerington.
