A celebration of life for Susan "Suzi" Meehan-Hunt, 59, a 28-year Carson City resident, will be 3 p.m. April 21 at 108 W. Third St. Friends are invited to attend.

Mrs. Meehan-Hunt died April 4, 2007, in Carson City.

She was born Nov. 14, 1947, in Cleveland, to Louis Gilmore and Blanche Miller.

She married Robert Hunt on May 20, 2000, in Carson City.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Meehan-Hunt lived in Cleveland.

She graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1965 and attended Ohio State University and Cuyahoga Community College. She later earned her associate's degree from Western Nevada Community College in 1996.

She was a real estate agent and broker and a founding executive director of the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada. She was the owner and operator of the Candy Bar in Carson City.

She belonged to the Temple Bat Yam of South Lake Tahoe.

She was preceded in death by her father in Henderson and her mother in Cleveland.

Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; son David Meehan of Carson City; stepsons Greg Meehan of Reno and Patrick Meehan of Spring, Texas; stepdaughter Amanda Hunt of Carson City; sister Julie Rosner of Israel; brothers Gary Goldman of San Diego and Ed Wittenberg of Cleveland and numerous extended family members.

Memorial donations may be made to the Carson Advocates for Cancer Care, P.O. Box 3127, Carson City, NV 89702.

Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
