The Summit Awards, awarded April 14, acknowledges and encourages excellence in commercial real estate. This year's Lifetime Achievement award was given to Preston Q. Hale, 93, founder and partner of Hale, Day, Gallagher. Other winners include:

• Best Multi-Story Office Building - Mt. Adams, Trammell Crow Construction
• Best Industrial Building Flex under 100,000 Square Feet - 2205 Glendale Ave., Glendale Properties, LLC
• Best Industrial Building over 100,000 Square Feet - Lear 200, Panattoni Development Company
• Best Retail Project - (non-anchored) - Virginia St. Plaza, Fite Development Company
• Best Retail Project - (anchored) Ð McQueen Crossing, Wall Street Properties Company
• Best Renovation/Remodel - The Atrium, Atrium Partners, LLC
The Broker of the Year Awards were based on total gross commission dollars. The winners this year were:
• Rookie of the Year Ð Dylan Mattole, Marcus & Millichap
• Largest Single Lease Transaction - Annemarie Huisman, Matt Reicken and DonWelsh (all of Trammell Crow Company)
• Largest Single Sales Transaction - Bruce Robertson, Sperry Van Ness
• Office Broker of the Year - Tim Ruffin, Colliers International Partnership
• Retail Broker of the Year - Chris Waizman, Trammell Crow Company
• Industrial Broker of the Year - Mike Hoeck, Dave Simonsen and Paul Perkins (all of Alliance Commercial)
• Investment Broker of the Year - Aiman Noursoultanova, CB Richard Ellis
• Land Broker of the Year - Mark Krueger, Grubb & Ellis
• Apartment Broker of the Year - Len Ramos, CB Richard Ellis
• Generalist Broker of the Year - Frank Gallagher, NAI Gallagher Commercial
The Summit Awards also awarded three awards of distinction. They were:
• Property Manager of the Year - Cheryl Evans, CPM, Coldwell Banker Commercial Premier Brokers
• Extra Mile Award - Kendra Kolvet, Alliance Commercial Real Estate
• CREW Ambassador - Deborah Sasz-Vonarx
