Lynette S. Wise

Lynette S. Wise, 93, an 83-year Carson City resident, died Aug. 11, 2007, in Carson City.

Mrs. Wise was born Feb. 14, 1914, to Erwin B. Stewart and Floy G. Gardner in Okanogan County, Wash. She married Roy B. Wise in 1933 in Carson City.

She attended high school and two years at the University of Nevada, Reno. She worked for the State of Nevada in the printing division for 15 years and the department of transportation.

She was a member of the Eastern Star. She taught sewing and cooking in 4-H for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son, grandson, granddaughter, three brothers and one sister.

Among her survivors are sons and daughters-in-law David E. and Nilva of Carson City, William S. and Mona of Santa Barbara, Calif.; daughter-in-law Nita Wise-Cummings of Reno; sister, Patricia Millett of Alaska; sister-in-law Georgie Stewart; brother and sister-in-law Don and Sue Wise all of Wash.; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

At her request, there will be no services.

Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
