A celebration of life for Deborah A. Mele, 49, a 23-year resident of Carson City, will be from 1-5 p.m. Saturday at the Mele Home.

Mrs. Mele died Aug. 13, 2007, at her home in Carson City. She was born Feb. 19, 1958, to Wayne and Sally Harrison in Sonoma, Calif. She married Byron Mele Sept. 24, 1984, in Reno.

She was a nurse and a member of the American Red Cross. She enjoyed travel and gardening. She was a fan of the San Francisco Giants baseball team.

She was preceded in death by her father Wayne Harrison in 1982, her son, Raymond Dweizel in 1983 and her mother Sally Harrison in 1996.

Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; her mother- and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Mele, her son and daughter-in-law, Cpl. Daniel II and Shanelle Mele.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross.

Cremation will take place at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
